Day 1 - 11/9/25

The Song of the Day is Warpaint (The Brook Brothers). The peace sign and the squinting eyes with the sticking out tongue is fast becoming the emoji of the trip.

Day 2 - 12/9/25

Pill's answer to Clayhanger's revel. Excitement and anticipation is brewing in the chalet.

This morning we learnt about the etymology of errand over some caramelly coffee. Comes from the Old English ærende, meaning "message" or "commission". 2pm went on a hike and had a bevvy in the mountains. KJ triumphed over EG in a game of chess. Cardi cardi cardi. We called loved ones. Ended the night with the documentary, 'The Act of Killing'.

Day 3 - 13/9/25

Contemplated going to Schwaz, but decided against it. We were keen to do some university work. More Cardi. "It's actually such a joy to engage with her wider corpus" - EG.

Day 4 - 14/9/25

KJ went to Pill for church and harvest lunch. EG and HE met her half way, worked in the afternoon. Better hiking tomorrow!

Day 5 - 15/925

Best day yet! Hiked from the house to Kellerjochhuette, had Pressknoedel and met a Canadian, drank beer, scrambled along the ridge, walked down. More hiking to come!
